November Meeting Review

At the November 2017 meeting, we held a turn-a-thon for Pens for Troops.

As the result of the pens turned that night and pens turned in by members that night, MAWt turned in an additional 200 pens. Dave Drickhamer reports that approximately 550 pens will be sent from the Milwaukee Woodcraft.

Beads of Courage Bowls were collected at the meeting.  There were approximately 25 bowls and boxes turned in by MAWt members. An later post will detail the exact number and we will try to post photos as well.

An announcement was made pertaining to the need for board members for 2018 and beyond.

And announcement was made concerning the December meeting, which consists of a potluck, and ornament exchange, and a challenge to make a snowman ornament. For the pot luck, the club will provide the main meat dish and rolls. Bring a dish to pass to complement that.

Correction on the count for the Turn for Troops pens. The final count is 650 not 550.

Thanks to everyone that turned for this event. Great job.
