20th Annual Kettle Moraine Studio Tour

Can you think of a better way to spend an October afternoon than driving through the scenic Kettle Moraine? What if you could stop at a number of art studios along the way? What if one of those art studios belonged to a professional wood artist who uses a lathe for a major portion of his work?

Consider attending the 20th Annual Kettle Moraine Studio Tour this coming Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13. Among the artists featured is Tom Rauschke at W625 Little Prairie Road, east of Palmyra. (You will know you are close when you see the microwave communications tower.) I have visited Tom’s studio on a previous art tour and he is a gracious host, and when I told him about MAWT, he gave me a book to donate to our library.
